I found an incredible rose garden and no Bonsais at the Japanese exhibition. Instead there was a Japanese house structure and glass cabinets with Japanese crockery and cutlery on display. Not what I want to see at the botanical gardens. The garden area was closed? Huh? So walked on and thankfully found the bonsais in the Chinese section of the garden. I was fortunate that a horticulturist was pruning that day and spent a good hour with her understanding the care and art of working with bonsais. She was so interesting and so knowledgeable. I was amazed how many people didn't think to stop and talk to her. I learnt about the intricate care of the roots, and how they determine which side the bonsai needs to be displayed. I was also interested that trees that are over 100 years old and all trees really have a record of the horticulturists that worked on each tree. Isn't that amazing? Même si cela semble du déjà vu, Secret Garden est un drama dont on ne se lasse pas, la petite touche de magie permet d'apporter de l'originalité à l'histoire et de ne pas ennuyer le téléspectateur malgré quelques longueurs sans gravité. Ainsi, judicieusement, le scénario ne se limite pas à cet aspect magique nécessaire à rendre certaines scènes cocasses mais également tragique.
